Twenty20 is a form of cricket created for the audience with matches lasting only three hours long. The first international Twenty20 match was played in Auckland, New Zealand in 2005 at Eden Park. In the same year, the first international match played in England was the Rose Bowl in Hampshire between England and Australia. The popularity of Twenty20 has grown since its competitive debut.
